The Lily

A 9 year old girl told us her favourite colours to incorporate in this house. When we showed her the video and her face lit up with joy, we thought it would only be right to name this house after her. Introducing the Lily.

Our task was to create a home that seamlessly accommodated the needs of a growing family while maximizing limited space on a very small block. With a keen eye for detail and outside the box thinking, we successfully integrated crucial elements like a separate kids’ activity area, a convenient laundry chute, and ample storage, all within an open-plan living concept. But what truly sets this home apart from the rest of the street is its striking facade, a testament to our commitment to making a statement in the neighborhood.

One of the house’s standout features is the expansive stacking glass doors that flood the kitchen and dining areas with natural light while providing a captivating view of the backyard. However, the pièce de résistance is the unconventional alfresco setup—a vergola system that extends gracefully over the grass.

This ingenious design choice ensures the family can enjoy outdoor dining in style, whether they choose to bask in the sunshine or seek shelter from the elements.
